Jerry Webb
Jerry Webb is a photographer and designer.
From a design background Jerry started photography in 2007. As a photographer he is self-taught and often at loggerheads with mainstream ideas, translating what he sees using more unorthodox ideas and processes, plus his very distinctive monochrome style. His photographs include people, street and project photography where there is a strong emphasis on culture, class and a sense of place. He has been published many times.
Although he works largely in mono Jerry is also an accomplished colour photographer and processor. His work is a combination of personal projects and commissioned photographs. He has had exhibitions in both London and Sussex and gives talks and workshops in Brighton where he lives and works.
Jerry has also worked as a freelance designer for many years - as a graphic, magazine and event designer. His work has taken him all over the world, providing design and branding for marketing, from corporate guidelines to stage sets. He has worked for Xerox, Thomson Reuters, Smiths Group, Aggreko and other large corporations.
